Founder: Neil Hennessy-Vass

 

Following a 15-year career in broadcasting including stints at SKY, ITV, BBC and C4, Neil then continued his creative journey moving on to photography.  Educated at University of Arts, London he began specialising in food, travel and documentary work, building a sound footing for his next chapter in the media.  When asked to write a restaurant review Neil happily obliged not realising that it would lead to him becoming the Food and Travel Editor at Families Magazine for seven years, then a freelance career contributing articles, book reviews and travel features to a multitude of newspapers, magazines and online outlets. Neil has written extensively about the arts, music, food, travel and popular culture and is an award winning journalist and photographer. 

 

Active on the food circuit having been a judge at the World Cheese Awards Neil is a continuing judge at the annual British Asian Curry Awards, and food consultant to restaurants.

In founding Xavicus Media, Neil aims to provide a voice for new talent and experienced writers alike, finding the right platform for their passions, knowledge and skills.
