Steve has spent a tremendous amount of time not only in front of the mic entertaining those who’ve flocked to see him as a well-established comedian working around the world with the likes of Frank Skinner, Craig Charles and Omid Djalili, but also patiently waiting in the wings as a photographer. He has photographed over a 1000 comedians doing their stuff, all the angst, the sweat, and the glory of it has been caught by Steve’s acute lens. He is friends with and trusted by them, enabling him to encapsulate, forever, some of the funniest people on earth. He has published two books of photography; Joker Face and Comedy Snapshot and is working on a third. His photography currently adorns the walls of The Observatory Gallery in London, the exhibition, Comedians: Back to Front was highlighted by the Guardian as ‘one of the five best exhibitions in the last year’. His work encompasses famous portraits, advertising, documentary and live performance. He lives in London with his wife and family and is said to be able to speak Serbo-Croatian, apparently something to do with his wife hailing from the former Yugoslavia.
