Phillipa Vincent-Connolly is an historian, author, educator, historical consultant, and a disabled broadcaster with cerebral palsy. As an academic she has written extensively on disability throughout history and is a recognised expert on the Tudor and Victorian periods — a status that has led to consultancy work on historical dramas. Phillipa is interested in both physical and learning disability in relation to the lives of ‘ordinary’ people and the lives of royalty — and she has been published on these subjects.
Phillipa is an authority on Tudor clothing and as a public speaker regularly lectures online. She has written seven historical fiction and factual books and an eighth will be coming out in 2021.
