Don Macnab-Stark is an award-winning screenwriter, script doctor, novelist, and consultant. His feature scripts have been filmed in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and South Africa and he has had numerous scripts produced, sold, and optioned.  Stones, written and produced by Don, won Best Feature Film at the 2016 London Independent Film Festival, and Iris Warriors, also his work, is scheduled for release in 2021. 

 

He wrote the best-selling graphic novel Treadwater and is the ghost writer for a best-selling UK crime series. At present, Don is adapting a New York Times best seller for the screen and his most recent script, Nemesis Wanted, is scheduled to shoot in 2021 as a Swedish/Canadian co-production. 

 

Don has travelled widely, and at various times lived in California, Alabama, North Carolina, Wales, and Salamanca in Spain.  In addition to writing, he also taught screenwriting for several years at South Essex College. Don grew up in Essex, where he lives today.
